Assen has hosted the Dutch TT since 1925 and remains the world's most rider-focused circuit: fast chicanes, cambered corners with famous grip, and run-off designed for bikes first. Car days exist, but the calendar — and the soul — belongs to motorcycles.
What the ratings mean for your day
Difficulty 3/5 — Moderate. A medium-complexity lap: you will know where it goes by lunch, and you will still be finding better lines in the last session. Bring patience.
Danger 2/5 — Forgiving. A forgiving venue by track standards — most errors end in gravel or grass, not barriers. Still a race track: the standard build-up discipline applies.
