The Hungaroring is a kart track at Grand Prix scale: corner after corner with barely a straight to rest on, dusty when the wind blows off the surrounding hills, and brutally hot at summer track days. Great for fitness, car balance and humility.
What the ratings mean for your day
Difficulty 3/5 — Moderate. A medium-complexity lap: you will know where it goes by lunch, and you will still be finding better lines in the last session. Bring patience.
Danger 2/5 — Forgiving. A forgiving venue by track standards — most errors end in gravel or grass, not barriers. Still a race track: the standard build-up discipline applies.
