1. Motorsport is dangerous — this is not safety instruction
Track driving and riding can cause serious injury, death and property damage. firstlap provides general information and organizational checklists only. It is not driver training, not professional instruction, not mechanical advice and not a safety system. Nothing here guarantees that you, your vehicle or your day will be safe.
- Your event's rules always win. The organizer's briefing, the marshals, the officials and the venue's regulations override anything on this site, every time they differ.
- You are responsible for your own decisions, your vehicle's condition, your equipment and your driving. If you are unsure about a mechanical check, have a qualified professional do it.
- Difficulty and danger ratings are editorial opinion, published to help you calibrate preparation. They are not a measurement, a certification or a promise about any circuit.
2. Accuracy of information
We work to keep circuit data, guides and checklists accurate and current, but circuits change layouts, rules, noise limits and calendars without telling us. Always verify critical details — dates, requirements, sound limits, insurance conditions — with the venue or organizer before spending money or arriving at a gate.
3. The service
firstlap is provided free of charge, "as is" and "as available". We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of it at any time. Your plan is stored only in your own browser (see the Privacy Policy); we cannot restore a plan you delete.
4. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the operator accepts no liability for any loss or damage arising from use of this site or reliance on its content, including participation in any motorsport activity. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded by law — including, where applicable, statutory consumer guarantees in the EU, UK, Australia and New Zealand, or liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence where such exclusion is not permitted.
5. Intellectual property
The firstlap name, mark, design system, text and data compilations belong to the operator and the drivenerve brand family. You may use, print and share plans and pages for personal, non-commercial purposes. Republishing site content at scale, or presenting it as your own, is not permitted without written consent.
6. Third parties
The site links to other websites (for example drivenerve.com). We are not responsible for their content or practices. There is no advertising on firstlap and there are no third-party scripts of any kind. Since 28 August 2026 each circuit page carries one clearly labelled partner link to Discover Cars, a car hire comparison service: if you follow it and later book, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. It is a plain outbound link, it is marked PARTNER LINK where it appears, and it changes nothing about what the planner or the circuit pages tell you.
7. General
These terms are governed by the laws of the operator's country of establishment in the European Union, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remainder stays in effect. We may update these terms; the date above changes when we do, and continued use after an update constitutes acceptance.
