What firstlap is, and is not
- firstlap publishes a free preparation planner and editorial guides for track days: a checklist, packing list, safety plan and countdown built in your browser from six answers, plus briefing pages for 41 circuits. Everything runs on your device; nothing you enter is sent anywhere. No contract for goods or services is concluded through this site, no payment is taken, and there are no accounts and no newsletter.
- firstlap is not driver training, not professional instruction, not mechanical advice and not a safety system. Track driving and riding are dangerous; the organizer’s briefing, the marshals and the venue’s rules override anything written here. Difficulty and danger ratings are editorial opinion. Publishing this tool is not subject to any authorisation or licensing scheme, and no supervisory authority oversees it.
- Partner links, where they appear, are labelled PARTNER LINK, sit after the free route, and never change what the checklist says. The complete list of partners and surfaces is in section 7 of the Privacy Policy.
Responsibility for content
The operator named above is responsible for the content of this site. Circuit facts are compiled from published sources and personal track experience; if a length, a rule or a noise limit is wrong, write to the address above and the correction ships with a note saying what changed. Corrections are published rather than argued with.

- Since no consumer contracts are concluded through this site, the EU rules attaching to online sales and service contracts do not apply to your use of it. The European Commission’s online dispute resolution platform was discontinued on 20 July 2025 under Regulation (EU) 2024/3228 and is deliberately not linked anywhere on this site.
- Use of this site is governed by the Terms of Use. The operator is established in the Republic of Lithuania and this notice is provided under Lithuanian law implementing Directive 2000/31/EC.
